The Northwest Suburban Optimist Club is a great way to get involved in the community without a huge time commitment. You can participate as much or as little as your schedule allows. Attendance at our weekly meetings is not required. We schedule our community involvement at different times (some are during business hours, some on weekends and some in the evening) so everyone has the opportunity to participate in something.
If you know of someone who might be interested in joining please pass along the recruitment page found here. If you are interested in joining our club we would love to meet you. Come to one of our meetings and we'll buy your lunch! No need to make reservations- just show up. We meet weekly at 12:00 noon* every Wednesday for lunch at the Golden Valley Golf and Country Club, 7001 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minnesota 55427. Click here for a map to the club.
* The 1st Wednesday of each month we meet at 7am for breakfast at Perkins in Golden Valley. (There is no lunch meeting that day.) Click here for a map to Perkins.
